R-Ladies Beijing R Tutorial Event

From September 2019 to June 2020, I was a co-organizer and one of the co-founders for the Beijing chapter of R-Ladies–a global organization that works to promote gender diversity in the R community. I was inspired to co-found the Beijing chapter of R-Ladies after a really positive experience with the R-Ladies community in Chicago, and I wanted to use my language skills to create more R programming resources in Chinese.
In December 2019, I led an interactive bilingual tutorial for beginner R programmers in Beijing. This event was the first one that we organized for R-Ladies Beijing, and hosted the event with the support of Startup Grind Beijing and the Beijing chapter of Ladies Who Tech.
